Voiceovers
A voiceover is spoken narration on its own audio element — separate from a talking avatar. Use it to narrate photos, location scenes, and parallax shots without a presenter on screen.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Open a video in the Video Editor.
- Pick a voice you’d like to narrate.
Add a voiceover
Section titled “Add a voiceover”Open the Voiceover tool in the left rail, then add one to the timeline.
- Scene text — type what should be spoken, or Generate a line for a topic and edit it.
- Voice — choose who reads it. See Voices.
- Speed, Pitch, Volume — fine-tune the delivery.
The voiceover appears as an audio element on the timeline; the duration updates from the text (and is re-timed exactly when the video is created).
Make it span several scenes
Section titled “Make it span several scenes”A voiceover isn’t tied to a single visual — in Scenes mode it can run across multiple scenes, so one narration plays over a run of photos. In Full mode you can place and overlap voiceovers freely.
Keep picture and voice in sync
Section titled “Keep picture and voice in sync”Want a photo to stay up for exactly as long as its line? Link the visual to the voiceover so it follows the narration automatically.
Captions
Section titled “Captions”Turn on captions for the video to burn the spoken words on screen — set their size and colours as needed. See Voices.
Next steps
Section titled “Next steps”- Voices — pick, clone, and manage voices.
- Clone a voice — narrate in a custom or brand voice.
- Link a visual to a voiceover — tie timing to narration.
- Grouping — move related elements together.
See Video pricing for how narration is billed.
