Frame shapes & centering

Every avatar scene can be framed differently and keeps the presenter’s face centered as the shot crops — important for portrait (9:16) videos.

Select the avatar on the canvas and pick a Frame Shape in its Properties:

  • Normal — a standard rectangular frame.
  • Circle — a round badge, great for a corner picture-in-picture.
  • Square — a tidy square badge.
  • Full — the avatar fills the whole frame, edge to edge.

Add a Frame Border (colour + width) to make Circle/Square avatars pop against the scene behind.

Roxybit detects the presenter’s face and keeps it centered when the video is cropped — so when a 16:9 avatar is used in a portrait (9:16) video, the face stays in shot instead of drifting to the edge. This happens automatically; you don’t need to reposition by hand.

Turn on Transparent background to cut the avatar out so the scene behind shows through — see Positioning & layering for how to place it over an image or video.

Each avatar has a default voice — when you create an avatar with a name, it gets its own “{name}’s voice”. New avatar scenes speak in that voice, and you can change the voice per scene from the Voice tab. See Voices.
